Day 1:

Pickup: Your specified hotel or agreed location in Accra at 7:00 am (Please be ready 30 minutes before pick-up time)

Stop 1: Akosombo Dam

Stop duration: 2-3 hours

• Visit the Akosombo Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric dams in the world, and learn about its history and importance to Ghana’s economy.
• Take a guided tour of the dam and see how electricity is generated from the water of the Volta River.
• Enjoy a boat ride on the Volta River and take in the beautiful scenery.

Stop 2: Lunch at The Royal Senchie

Stop duration: 1 hour

• Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and sample some of the region’s traditional cuisine.

Stop 3: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary

Stop duration: 2 hours

• Visit the monkey sanctuary and see the rare and endangered Mona monkeys in their natural habitat.
• Learn about the local community’s conservation efforts and how they have protected the monkeys for generations.
• Take a guided tour of the sanctuary and have a chance to feed the monkeys.

Stop 4: Check-in to Volta Serene Hotel

Stop duration: 1 hour

Day 2:

Pickup: Your accommodation at Volta Serene Hotel at 8:00 am

Stop 1: Wli Waterfall

Stop duration: 2-3 hours

• Visit the beautiful Wli Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Ghana, and enjoy the stunning scenery.
• Take a guided tour of the waterfall and learn about the local legends and folklore associated with the site.
• Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the waterfall.

Stop 2: Lunch at a local restaurant

Stop duration: 1 hour

• Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and sample some of the region’s traditional cuisine.

Stop 3: Mountain Afadjato

Stop duration: 2-3 hours

• Hike to the summit of Mountain Afadjato, the highest mountain in Ghana, for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
• Explore the lush forests and unique flora and fauna of the mountain.
• Take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Stop 4: Departure

Stop duration: None

Depart to Accra.
